ANGELINA YOUNG SAVAGE , CHRISTINA YOUNG YODER, & CAITLIN BASLER
Angelina & Christina have been working together since they day they were born! Growing up, they were frequently referred to as "The Tappin' Twins," a name that they embrace. They both attended Muhlenberg College, where they were members of the Muhlenberg JazzTap Ensemble (where they served as the opening act for the Tap Dogs) and were the co-founders of Copacetic Rhythms. Their first professional tap experience was also shared when they both became apprentice members of the Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers. After college, Christina became a company member of SOTD and Angelina left to tour the world with Sesame Street Live. Christina also toured with Sesame Street Live after a few years dancing and teaching in New Jersey, but they never had the opportunity to work together on tour.

Caitlin was welcomed into the Resonance family as a faculty member (leading our awesome cardio warmup!) back in 2015 and joined as Assistant Director for the 2016 season.

ANGELINA YOUNG SAVAGE--DIRECTOR
Picture
After receiving her BA in Dance from Muhlenberg College, Angelina Young Savage toured the world with Sesame Street Live for almost ten years as a dancer, singer, understudy and director. Traveling to Spain, Portugal, Alaska, Hawaii, Barbados, Mexico, and more, she acted as the on-tour director, stage manager, dance captain, rehearsal director, understudy, and publicist. After touring the world, Angelina kissed her muppet pals goodbye to move to Pittsburgh, where she was the assistant director of Czarniak Tap! and a dancer and rehearsal director of Continuum Dance Theater. Off the stage in Pittsburgh, Angelina taught at numerous studios and performing arts academies including the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter High School and Millennium Dance Complex. She has been found guest teaching and choreographing throughout the East Coast.
Angelina is the founder and director of Resonance Tap Experience and producer of the Rock City (Cleveland) and Steel City (Pittsburgh) Tap Fests.

Away from dance, Angelina is the President of First Position Communications (specializing in arts marketing, public relations and social media) and a Pure Barre instructor. She has five rescue dogs, and one very supportive (former dancer) husband. She recently relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to explore Tap Dance on the West Coast!

You can find Angelina behind the desk, taking pictures, answering questions and making sure each Resonance Tap Fest is a  blast!

They have gone on to win regional and national titles including Best of Show at Adrenaline. Some have also booked national tours, are pursuing dance in college, are on nationally ranked college dance teams, professional basketball dance teams, and are division I cheerleaders. As a choreographer, Christina's work as been recognized with choreography awards at numerous competitions such as Cathy Roe and Adrenaline.
